In 1975, the investment club was converted to a limited partnership and the advisor registered as an investment advisory firm under the 1940 Act. In 1984, the advisor’s organization structure was changed to a Subchapter-S Corporation and in 1986 the Monetta Fund was launched as a no-load mutual fund. In 1993, the Monetta Trust Mutual Fund platform was established to add product diversification. The platform currently consists of the Monetta Mid-Cap Equity Fund, the Orion/Monetta Intermediate Bond Fund and the Monetta Young Investor Fund.
